Tyris is a Capricorn, born and raised on the south side of Chicago. 

Tyris, just like many others, had a long list of skin issues like clogged pores, acne, and hyper-pigmentation because of acne. He tried a variety of products both on the low and high end but couldn’t find anything to work for his skin. In addition, he had a hard time finding others in beauty campaigns that looked like him and his peers. He realized that there was a huge lack of diversity, so he developed a skincare company that provides exemplary, plant-based, and clean skincare products that proficiently maintain clear and healthy skin while taking inclusion to the next level by representing all forms of beauty.  

In 2019, Tyris began to study and practice ethical formulating. He went through trial and error. He bought a few books like Timeless Skin, utilized websites that provided information on formulating, and being a visual learner, YouTube was his best friend.  

He started with just two products, a simple face wash and a sugar scrub. As time passed and he began to expand, he developed more products like Apple Juice, his best seller. He learned all about different ingredients. What works and what doesn’t work. He learned how to use preservatives. He developed the entire website, hand made all the products, and even developed the labels.  

He has turned lemons into a clean and plant-based skincare brand for everyone.
